So, here's the deal -
My Midisport is not working out with Cubase LE, and the piano I have is a Yamaha P60. It's plugged in correctly, but my only problem is that the USB light on the Midisport is flashing, and the MIDI Out light is not on. I think that I screwed something up along the way, and I've tried everything. If anyone can help, please tell me! Thanks! |

first of all what are you trying to do?
Are you trying to trigger sounds from your p60 from cubase? hense you say midi out light not working, by the way it will blink everytime midi data is sent out.
1) I have the 2x2 midisport and sometimes if its not plugged into the same usb port it was installed on it won't work properly.
2) is the usb port your using powered? if not try a different usb port. the usb light on mine stays lit when it's plugged in.
3) If none of these work try unistalling and reinstalling the midisport.

Hi cwk101010--I am having the exact same issues with the Yamaha P60 and M-Audio MIDISport (Uno) and I was wondering if you ever got your issue resolved. I even went back to the store to replace the interface but I'm having the same problem--the MIDI Out LED is not lighting up at all even when I play the piano. I would really appreciate it if you could post or e-mail me with even a brief description of how things turned out. Thanks! |
