I believe smili was on the right track. I think your associations for playing our files may have gotten changed. The songs are all in .mp3 format, as that's the only format we allow to be uploaded, BUT...... Our system converts them to .m3u or .wax files depending on what streaming software you're using. (.wax for windows media player, and .m3u for everyone else)

It sounds like your system doens't want to play .m3u files correctly, which means the file association might have gotten changed. I have a couple more questions and I THINK we'll be there.

1) which mac oc are you using?
2) what version of netscape are you using? (In netscape go to help, then about)

We're gonna get to the bottom of this!

Sorry Amazon... I sent you a PM and I thought you were going to call me....

I'm not an expert in "MAC", but here is what I found and how I think you can fix the problem.

a)Our site uses a file called an ".m3u" to stream music. This is basically just an .mp3, but allows for streaming. When your MAC tries to play the ".m3u" file, it's not going to the appropriate player. I.E. I-Tunes...

b)You need to set your file associates so that all .m3u files are played by I-Tunes. Here's how you do it... (I think, hope, dream!!!!)

c)Create a text file, and rename it to test.m3u (the extension is important)

d)Get Info (?+I) for the file

e)go to to Open File With

f)Change The application to I-Tunes

f)Select the "change all" box so that ALL .m3u files are played with Itunes...

I hope this helps!!!! Let me know if you have any problems...
