We recently got back from a recording session in Brooklyn, New York with producer/engineer Alex Newport. Alex has recorded such bands as At the Drive-In, The Mars Volta, The Locust, Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies, Piebald and many others. It was an amazing experience and incredibly postive for everyone. We definitely learned a lot from him.
We were there for 10 days. The recording is live off the floor. Only keys and vocals were overdubed. Five songs were done and three are now up on the myspace. They are only rough masters but when we release the full EP in the next few months it will be fully pressed and ready to go.
We hope everyone can enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.
