project Bio:
Project was formed in late 2005 right around the time the 9 year old local band Odd Man Spoke decided to go on hiatus. 2 of the 5 pieces that made up OMS started putting their ideas to work. The influences of these 2 musicians include TOOL, APC, Filter, NIN, Smashing Pumpkins and many others styles and sounds.
Music has been a pertinent part of Adam Kelly and Brendan Grady’s lives, and has given them the freedom to get the sound they’ve wanted without having to form a new 5, 6 or 7 piece band. The entire musical composition heard when listening to Project, was created completely by Adam and Brendan. Everything from the writing, performing, composing, recording, engineering, producing, editing and mixing was done from scratch by these two talented minds.
Project’s goal is to release real rock music with no boundaries. Their music is full of layered rhythms and sounds that blend together like few bands heard before. During the life of Odd Man Spoke, Adam was solely on guitars and Brendan on lead vocals. Now that they have been given the freedom to write and produce every instrument and aspect of this endeavor, exactly as they see fit, you will be hearing the name quite a bit in the near future…PROJECT.
PROJECT is currently working on their first full length compilation of music, soon to be released.
