Making the Move!!

It feels so good to be on the road. There is always a wonderful sense of security in what you are familiar with but the uncertainty of the unknown is refreshing and exciting and we are eating it up right now! We had a great time on the road in Pennsylvania and NY this week and everyone was amazing. There were Averi supporters showing up from all over with Averi shirts and tons of love. So thank you to all who came out to visit us, support us and make us feel right at home. We will do it again real soon. Promise.

We also got a good chance to get out and see some vast landscapes. I am not sure how many of you are into wine but there is a stretch of road from NY to Pennsylvania that is lined for hundreds of miles with vineyards. It is really impressive. I took this picture of some of the vines just starting to bloom for the season. Being that in touch with nature can really put you in touch with yourself or in our case... just relax you so much that you feel like you have to CRAP!! So the vine watching experience was short lived before it was on to the next rest station.

And speaking of which, rest stations actually start to become exciting on the road. After being in a vehicle for hours you actually start to look forward to stretching out and grabbing a Cinibon or burrito or something else that is going to make you inevitably have to stop again in like 20 mins. Plus the place is crawling with weirdoes. It always looks like the Creature Cantina from Star Wars. There is everyone gathering in these places from every walk of life. I really think someone could sit at a rest area and talk to people coming through about their travels and their life stories and have a pretty interesting book on their hands...or at least a book that helps you CRAP!!I dont know.

More from the road soon but for the next few weeks we are LOCAL!!! or LOCOwhich is it?both I guess, but very LOCAL so check the shows section and come on out to see us. We cant wait to see everyone and be playing back around home with some new tunes to boot! In a bit.
