Hello, my name is PhantomPowers and I am an audio engineer/musician based in the UK. I have worked with lots of musicians young and old. Bluegrass to Death Metal, Scotland sure has it\'s way with music. I am a party man who loves to socialize, drink and dance. All the stuff you\'ll want.
I also write and record all my own music, my band is called +48volts. I do hope you all enjoy the +48volts experience, there will always be some kind of sample of my work playing on my profile at MySpace. Feel free to contact me any time you wish, if indeed you want to hear more or plan on working with me in the future.
So I hear you\'re the best in the biz and being Scottish I couldn\'t agree more.
I work at the studio that recorded \'january\' and since then many other new Scottish talent have came through my doors.
I saw Mogwai when I was 16 years old in the Key Youth Center, East Kilbride and I have never stopped to think about how music could ruin my life. I am now 24 and I have just had my own debut album mastered, I wrote, recorded, mixed, played it and sang on it all on my lonesome and got a good friend
Rich Hinton to master it. You can hear a sample of my music on my profile here on MySpace. The Band Is Called +48volts
I have worked with Richie Colburn at Clearwater Studios, when he played a part on the new Southpaw album, thats when I knew I could make it as an Audio Engineer/Musician. I also worked with David Ogilvy on a couple of film scores which was great fun.
I was recently described as a success story from Perth College, I was on a list along side Tony Doogan, Geoff Allan, Ian Burness and Pam Smith, which was a great privilege.
My aim is to be writing music and recording other peoples music for a very long time and I feel I am an asset to all who work with me.
If you like what you hear please don\'t hesitate in contacting me by e-mail at: phantompowers@gmail.com
