Pain, love, wealth and life all come and go. But our dreams are what we really are made of. And they will seep in and change everything. Latest update... The recreations of the 1930's depression seem upon us for a repeat session. But instead of the rich stock investors jumping out of windows, we have regular people just starting out on a brave foot and loosing everything. They thought nothing would change. Well everything changes and all the decisions we make must be based on that fact. Life for the songwriter/artist is no different. In fact, it's even more difficult as the state of recording is always on the move and has the life span of a computer. You spend mega bucks on the latest one and 2 years later it's obsolete. And so is life. Sacrifices are surreal. Music and art rules us with no pay plan or health insurance for back up. Only the dream that someone will like what we do and be willing to pay us for our hard work that few witness. Art/Music is the dream and rules us. We do the strangest things for the sake of these things. We deam it important. To do the things one desires, one goes to the far reaches of creativity and then off the edge. So what else is new for any artist? When we get to the second half of this life it should be the best and still ART SHOULD RULE! Nothing else is real. OUR DREAMS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WE HAVE IN THIS LIFE.
