She started singing at the age of three with the gift she had been blessed with from God.
Dionne attended Booker T. Washington High School known as Arts Magnet for the performing Arts, where artist such as Erykah Badu and Nora Jones also attended. Dionne still resides in Dallas, Texas and has a son Marcus Edwards. Dionne is the Vice President of her church choir and is an active member in her church. Dionne has explored all types of music but she says there is no anointing like the anointing she feels when she is singing Gospel Music.
