FADED PHOTOGRAPHS



I see you clearly inside my mind

Holding you dearly, hearts so entwined

We would talk for hours among the flowers

There by the sea, you danced with me

It happened so fast, a love that would last.





Photographs fading inside my mind

Passing years shading love so divine

What happened to those children there by the sea?

One who was you. The other was me.

A love meant to last had faded so fast.
