Beast of Damnation Bio:
Beast of Damnation is a death/black metal band from the Netherlands. In August 2005, right after the split up of Damnations Way two members Warlock (vocals) and Sickopath (guitars) teamed up with Gorehog (drums) to form Beast of Damnation. The band’s name was derived from a Damnations Way song. The music can be best described as a mixture of old school death and black metal, with some trash and doom influences. The main lyrical themes are horror and war. A few months after the formation another former Damnations Way member, Basstard Bomber (bass) joined the band. In April 2006 the recording sessions for the first demo were started. With the use of an analogue 4-track recorder three songs were recorded and mixed from April to August. The result can be heard on the Promo 2006 CD.
In October 2006 Skull Crusher (guitar) reinforced the band.
In November 2007 a live rehearsal demo was released, which contains nine songs. |
