My name is Robert Stringer, and I would like to introduce you to “Higher Cry”
We are an all original, Christian Rock Group from Hot Springs, Arkansas. We have a grunge rock to Easy ballad style, with Creed Style vocals. We assembled late 2006.
I (Robert) am the keyboardist/ lead vocalist for the band. I started singing karaoke
In 2000, and God lead me to start writing in 2006. I piddled with Keyboard all my life but took it serious in 2006. With the help of God, a computer, a drum machine and a Yamaha PSR 580, Several songs were born, and recorded. Steven joined me in late 2006, and Higher Cry was born. Shortly after that Seth joined us, as our drummer. Timm Graves joined after that, and completed our group. God provided us with the needed equipment, and talents to go on.
Today, Higher Cry has a unique sound that cannot be matched, a variable genre, so there’s something everyone will appreciate, and a true desire to reach those who don’t know Christ, as well as those who do, with God’s Truth. There’s no mistaking who our leader is! I feel God leading me to greater heights, with Higher Cry.
