RainFallWarning - "The best we could have done"

The best we could have done

My heart can be at times confusing
My life to me is so amusing
I don’t care why
I just accept my complications
And remind myself I need more patience
I don’t care how

You and I should take more time
And spend the money that we really don’t have
What’s the use if we put it away?
If we don’t know how to spend it on a rainy day
You and I should explore more places
Take the pictures to fill the spaces
What point in having free time?
When we can’t decide, and regret inside

If I could take this over
I want to say I’d do the same things that I’ve done
And when we are older
I want to say to you, we did the best we could have done
Let’s take a drive and never turn around

I like to laugh at my contradictions
Still I try to listen to my convictions
Listen to your heart

You and I should take a drive
Down the roads that no one goes
What’s the point of washing the car
When it never get dirty in the first place
You and I should visit more people
Wine and dine and tell our story
What’s the use of having any fun?
When you’re prone to being all alone

If I could take this over
I want to say I’d do the same things that I’ve done before
And when we are older
I want to say to you, we did the best we could have done
Let’s take a drive, lets take reason, lets take our lives and never turn around

You and I should eat more junk food
And run in fields until were in shape
Cause, what’s the use of having two legs
When you never get up from the TV screen
You and I should work less hours
And spend the time with our families
What’s point of having this life
If we spend it away from the things we love
