Will Vaughan Bio:
17 year old Will Vaughan is the singer/guitarist for the hard rock outfit, Plan Nine. He writes most of the band's songs with the other guitarist, Saggie. Vaughan started work on an alternative solo album, 'Nausea', late Spring of 2005. It was originally a joke thing for the amusement of the band and close friends, but Vaughan gradually came to like the idea of doing solo work as well as writing for the band. His 2nd album, 'Sweet_16', consisted of 16 pieces of experimental music, each one completely different from the last. Now Vaughan has just finished his 3rd album, 'Kazoo'. This album will be released on Dreamscape Records this summer.
Will writes, arranges, performs, records, edits and produces, mixes etc. all of the material. He has very basic facilities (the program 'Audacity' on his laptop, some leads, a mic, a keyboard and guitar) Vaughan says he trys to do the best he can with what he has. You can notice the level of recording quality from Nausea compared to the new tracks, "its all using the same equipment", Vaughan says, "its just that I'm experimenting more and learning!".
Will Vaughan is now signing to the American record label, Dreamscape Records. Will says that "this is very exciting for me, and it's a great boost for me to focus more on my music!".
