In the spring of 2005, Aaron J. and Jake L. had scattered ideas for coming up with a classic rock band titled "Unnessecary Roughness," with two other members. Later, during the next year, Aaron and Jake re-thought their attempt and decided to make Thrift, The Harmonic Rock Insight for Time. Jake came up with the band name while visiting Ocean City, MD and visiting a store named "Super Thrift." Aaron origionally was meant to play the drums but later was influenced by the bass guitar. Jake, is the lead guitarist and the lead vocalist. In Novemeber of 2005, Justh picked up Brian Dhoerty as a drummer, but was never used. In the spring of 2006, Leedy and Justh attempted at writing songs and recorded few. They often turn to fans and Justh's musically educated grandfather on insight. Thrift has now come out with it's first release, "Mexico" after one year of Justh and Leedy tinkering around for a band idea. Today, Justh and Leedy are collaborating on a CD which is schedualed to release in July of 2006.
