His interest in music reflected the environment he grew up in with a multi-cultural diet of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, hip hop and learning to play the guitar at a very early age

When I was about 14 I got into happy hardcore which progressed to garage where I got into MCing and this led to jungle/drum & bass.

He started MCing on a regular basis in 1997, listening to old school garage music and radio MCs. A steady succession of low key raves , house parties, internet radio and pirate radio quickly followed. His attention moved to drum and bass with his favourites being a duo called Skibadee and Shabba.
Drum and bass has been the biggest influence especially the MC's and the whole vibe of the scene in South East London.

At the end of 1999 whilst still at school Pyro started writing lyrics to drum and bass and regularly MCs on Internet Radio Worldwide FM and performing at live jams with a drummer and bass player.

As well as writing his lyrics and being an adept guitarist Pyro plays, programmes and produces all his songs at home. Still only 23 theres a witty gritty reality in his lyrics thats sure to generate a lot of interest.
