It's ninety-five today in Riverside
Up here's always seasonably cold
I just got back from SoCal
It was so nice to see you again
All my loved ones and friends in SoCal
We had a good time there
I got an education in more ways than one in SoCal
I met my true love Leigh and had a family in SoCal
I made for myself a name and climbed the corporate chain in SoCal
Seeing all I had it really wasn't so bad in SoCal
But when infrastructures crumble
Under the weight it's time to leave
I'm not all the way over SoCal
But SoCal is way over me
Driving home to the Oregon coast
The racing thoughts recede
I'm so over SoCal
And SoCal is so over me
