THeM Music at unsignedbandweb.com THeM Established in 2004, THeM is a band based out of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory in northern Canada. THeM consists of 3 members: Colin Close (lead vocals/guitar), Ryan Collins (drums/guitar) and Logan Collins (bass guitar). The band has no specific genre, but singer Colin Close classifies them as "Emo-Punk-Garage-Folk-Indie Rock!" Practically straight out of high school, the boys started out with random jam sessions which prgressed into regular meetings. Songs formulated and THeM emerged. Their first performance was at F.H. Collins Secondary School and shortly after, in late August of 2005, the boys recorded their first demo at Rainbow Studios. The demo consisted of 3 songs: "Lovesick Melody", "Just Can't Seem To" and "Stab at Reality". The band is currently in different areas of the country with Close attending university in Edmonton, Alberta, and the Collins brothers are still in Whitehorse. They plan to re-record in December of this year, but all members continue to promote their demo. A message from the guys:
