stored away on the island
far and away from the ciaos
and the main land is off
and away from the eye

to create the whole wilderness
it took the right ingredients
some desperation
some just leave me alone

and mesmerize at the sea
it's all it seems to be
all i can say
is that i got away

who wonders the night trail
with the moon as a lantern
there's no siren cry
only gush of the tide

memorize the gull flight
memorize the nothing
and the light of the dawn
is all the beacon i know
