Complicated

Had a hundred and fifty dollars
Went to Buds and bought it used
But the intonations awful
I cant keep the strings in tune
Sure Im not the greatest player
Never was, will never be
But I like to keep thing simple
Ive had complex up to here

Ive had complicated women
Ive had complicated friends
Ive had tricky situations
This and that, and more again
Ive had days that made me wonder
Is this ever gonna end
But I thrive on complications
And who knows whats coming next

Had a pebble in my sandal
And the pain would drive me mad
Didnt take out, to lazy
I got lost and way off track
And I got myself in trouble
Its been going on for years
But I got what I had coming
Ive had complex up to here

Ive had a bit of practice
Though Ive never lived that fast
I mess up, it just comes natural
And I do the best I can
