The story of Unfinished Wood is a long one. Many generations have passed the tale on to those that came after them. Here is the abridged version...

Guitarist/vocalist D. Scott Davis met bassist Tim Baumgardner in 2002. Having shared an interest in such bands as Kiss, Rush and Foo Fighters, the two rehearsed while searching for a drummer. As luck would have it, they met drummer Noah MacKenzie through mutual friend and Twin Cam drummer, Mike Sammons. It was then time to rock you like a... like a ... well... you get the idea...

In 2003, UFW released their self-titled 5-song debut CD. The song "Transplant" got a decent amount of airplay on Columbus' WBZX 99.7 The Blitz (Thanks, Fat Johnny!!). UFW continues to play the Columbus club scene. Their new (and first full-length) CD, "Is It Just Me?" (available through our official website, among other places) is now out and ready to enjoy. With the departure of drummer, Noah MacKenzie, the search for a new drummer now continues.
