Band members Jim & Bren met at school & have been playing in different bands together since. They met Stef & Dan through gigging & formed the DeadCelebs who have now been together for around 2 years, writing original songs & refining their sound. With influences such as AC/DC, Rage against the machine & Queens of the Stoneage amongst many others, the music is very guitar based although the vocal melodies are interesting and unexpected. The DeadCelebs are an experienced gigging band who regularly play in Brighton, London and other venues across the south. This includes supporting The Cooper Temple Clause at the Barfly in Camden & The Electric Soft Parade at the Pressure Point in Brighton. Their latest e.p, "Things you show me," has also featured on channel 4's extreme sports programs "freesports on 4," Xfm & secured a place on a Chromium records release. Many original songs have been written with more being frequently added to the set.
