Perigee
Perigee Bio:

Perigee started out with John Aikin (guitar) and Robby Coleman (drums) at a pretty young age. They had played in different bands over the years with each other. Working very devotedly to the music, Dustin Miller (vocals) joined the band, then later Jon Hopkins (bass) was added to complete the the group, which was exactly what they needed. With three full length recordings and a few demos in high school, the band also focused on playing shows locally. Numbers reached from 100 to the high hundreds at their shows in high school. Now the guys are out of high school and in college. They are working on major label promotion, along with indie label, and seeking management for touring across the country. Perigee is currently working on the writing and recording of their fourth independent album, currently untitled. They love talking to their fans and go out of their way to give the fans what they ask for, plus more. drop the guys an email at perigee@betarecords.com, they'd love to hear from you!

This song was written in the summer of 2004 as a group collaboration from all four of the guys in Perigee. Lesson to be Learned has an important meaning to the guys. It's kind of the band's "calling card." They worked very hard on this song to give off the right vibe. The music, the lyrics, the melody, and the overall feeling make this song stand out among others.

Happy was written in October of 2003. Working with different uses of chords, the song basically gives off a vibe that couldn't be placed into a better word than the title--"Happy".
