formed in late November 2004, but never really doing anything constructive until mid-February 2005. The band was born as a five piece, pulse pouding, heart breaking band out of the heart of Illinois. All members coming together from differnt backgrounds, with influences and insperations coming from 80's metal, metalcore, thrash, heavy metal, and melodic death metal. All put together to bring some brutal riffs, and breakdowns. Perfection is a roll this band takes on well, with frequent changes, additions, and scratching of material, they wont let the word 'mediocre' into a description of the band. And this, this is just the beginning.

As of late, theArtofSacrifice has been working on new material, to the addition of the demo 'War Cries'. Songs have a differnt feel to them, a lot heavier. They feel more confident in the material, and are excited to show everyone at shows this summer.
