Idiot Savant is a melancholy, melodic song about feeling uncomfortable in your own skin and about feeling at odds with the world around you. Based on my experiences at a mental health ward the song is written through the eyes of a patient on suicide watch. Very dark, personal and tragic, but also very accessible and with a memorable chorus to boot!

Scarlett is a song about wishing for something you know you can never have, disappointment, and surrendering to a life of lonliness. A mellow, melodic and dark song which details a lonely inividuals steady descent into boredom and indifference following a regrettable sexual incounter. The song eventually builds into a huge break-beat filled epic closing section. A rather pretty song that has been known to bring the odd tear to eyes of even the most bitter curmudgeon.
