The Morning After
The Morning After Bio:

The Morning After are a live 4-piece Indie rock band from Corby in Northants who love nothing better than playing great music. Formed in November 2002 the lads have strived to produce great things. They are constantly writing new songs and learning new covers for the pub audiences. Taking influences from bands such as classic Britpop acts like Oasis and the Stone Roses and combining it with great bands like Pink Floyd they produce great melodic and original music. They also enjoy playing some covers often “jazzing” them up to suit their style. Playing the Corby pub scene, the band has gained a good following from their home town. Often at gigs, fans can be seen singing along to their favourite Morning After tunes. They have played other prestigious venues including The Dublin Castle, Camden Town, The Rockgarden, Covent Garden, The Soundhaus, Northampton and The Roadmender, Northampton. Two of the members also appeared on local radio station, Corby radio, where they were interviewed and the track “Sunshine Blues” was played. Dedicated fans will have noticed a progression in their original material as it has become more rocking, leaving behind the more acoustic feel, but keeping still all the melody and progression the lads enjoy. The band will be producing a second demo at the end of August with a second album on the way, great things are planned for this local band. After much discussion the band will be soon leaving behind the covers scene and going out just on the strength of their original material. The band is looking for gigs in Manchester, Liverpool and London this year, already being offered venues like West One Four, West Kensington, London. They will be taking a coach for the local fans to as many as possible, The Morning After is coming…
