She had a few successful years of competing, but after having one too many chopsticks thrown at her in the name of practise, she quit. A couple of years later, she discovered that songwriting made it possible to express things too awkward to say.

Armed with no stage or studio experience, Moulann luckily met an awesome producer in 2000 and recorded a bunch of songs in the span 3 years with no intention of releasing an album. A debut album came out on a whim and that year she started performing live but strangely, never sang the songs on her CD (perhaps because she outgrew them). The album sold out - predominantly online - of its first printing with virtually no publicity, testifying to the power of the World Wide Web.

Early 2005, Moulann released a digital EP (of previously recorded material), a 3-song collection called "3 Songs". She is working on a new album that she hopes will do at least as well as the debut... and she hopes to actually sing those songs when she performs.
