Scott Bolton
Scott Bolton Bio:

Scott Bolton is making his return to the stage, sexier and saucier than ever. He’s a breath of fresh air at circuit events from coast to coast, where he can get even the most macho crowds to let their guard down and holler along.

Raised in a small Canadian town near the garish glow of Niagara Falls, Scott high-kicked and two-stepped his way into a performing arts high school on the American side of the border. He discovered his singing voice here before heading for Toronto’s Ryerson University to study drama. After his first year, Scott dropped out of the program (“too boring”) and returned to musical theatre. Scott’s big break, however, came when he landed a lead role in the Broadway Production of Cats.

After three years of bump and grind, Scott closed the stage door,
believing he was leaving for ever and joined the buttoned-down
corporate world. It was not to be however, as itchy feet have brought him back to the thrill of performing.

A chance meeting with UK producer Lin Gardiner, highlighted a shared
vision and their tongue-in-cheek cover of Kiss’ heavy-metal anthem, “I Was Made For Lovin’ You”, got the ball rolling. This led to a live performance at Vancouver’s 2003 Rapture party. And now, with nothing to prove to anybody but himself, Scott and Lin have produced his debut album “Set Me Free”, which showcases his buttery smooth Broadway voice. “Set Me Free” includes several unexpected covers and two original songs written by Scott and Lin “Just Love Me” and Free Yourself”.

It was the confidence that came with age that allowed Scott to
rediscover his devious inner child. But this time, his only agenda is to have fun. After a performance, odds are you’ll find Scott amongst the crowd and dancing the night away with everybody else. As he sees it, “I’m only part of the show. Everybody who walks through the door is on stage, and being able to interact with performers can really make the party.”
