Martin Hannah is a singer/songwriter from just outside Glasgow, Scotland. Martin has been writing songs since the age of 10. Much of Martin's work would be described as acoustic but sometimes has a rock or experimental feel to it. Martin says of his songwriting 'I write from the heart. All my songs tend to be autobiographical in nature and to me isolate and capture the mood and experiences of the time of writing. I am not particularly good at writing about other peoples lives, so my songs reflect the journey that I am on, and that journey has often been a difficult one. Like everyone else I have had my good times and my bad'. Martin's work at times can be defined as raw, this is because he tends to shun the stiffling atmosphere of the recording studio for the relaxed enivronment of his home, this is where he feels he can capture the moment of emotion and essence of his heart. Martin returns to Unsigned Band Web after some time away.
