De Lorean Bio:
De Lorean is a fresh, talented and rousing 4-piece rock band hailing from Shepherds Bush, West London.
After releasing a specially commissioned album for the book, ‘Civilization One’, De Lorean are now creating a buzz around London with their brand new EP. Taking inspiration from such artists as The Neptunes, The Foo Fighters, U2 and Incubus, the band provides and eclectic mix of new musical rock.
The boys came together through friends and also an ad in Loot, just 9 months ago. All four members share a passion for music and a determination to push themselves to reach their full potential.
Adam Falkus provides rich, ethereal vocals, which are laid over rock/hip-hop beats from Paul Newton on drums. Jim Evans skips effortlessly between punchy power chords and melodic harmonies on guitar and Will Skidmore complements this with funky bass lines and beautiful piano melodies.
De Lorean has often been likened to Radiohead (“like Radiohead with a splash of colour”), but realistically there is no easy comparison to any other existing band. They are forming a new path for themselves, and with their new EP and a US tour planned for spring, no doubt De Lorean will be bringing some followers with them.
