With the faintest whiff of insanity emanating from all five Joycopter
noiseniks it's little wonder our music takes a walk on the wild side.

The music we love is eclectic, the music we make is hectic. Packed with the
raw juice of every genre in the sonic rainbow. And then some.

Initially a three pronged attack comprising of composer and drummer Stu
Browne, axeman Steve Jones, and vocalist Michelle Adamson - the Joycopter
ranks swelled in 2003 to include accomplished musicians Dave Bundy on bass,
and Anthony Hindley on keyboards. With a passion for a perverse panoply of
sounds the aural warriors were tooled up and ready for action. Our mission:
to fetishize the unconventional. The rules: there are no rules.

Our secret weapon is an edgy melange of funk, rock, techno, rap (and a few
other genres they haven't invented yet) skilfully encased in mindwarp
tempos and tipped with lyrics that embrace those enduring themes:
psychopaths, abuse of painkillers, and intercontinental ballistic missiles.
Its Stravinsky downing tequila slammers with Bjork at a party hosted by the
Cocteau Twins.

The band hail from Bolton, Chester and Manchester and we've hit a multitude
of audiences across the North West with our ballistic live performances and
won fans as far afield as Japan and Romania.
