Shaun Eagle Bio:
In elementary school, his musical skills were blooming. He remembers, being as little as 8 years old, teaching himself on his grandmother's piano. Sure he wasn't very good, neither he is not very good right now, but he wrote his first song on the piano at 7 years old. He didn't know notes or even thought about adding words to it. Soon he starting humming stuff on the school bus because he was bored. He made up many songs and he thought, "if I was able to write that song down, it would have been a hit." But Shaun did not know notes yet so he didn't write anything down.
Then in the 4th grade, Shaun was drumming on his desk and a man who taught high school band said he should join the band next year. So he did and very soon he was able to read music with no problem. Mr. Sharritts taught him everything he knows about music. Then on Christmas in the 10th grade, Shaun's parents bought him a guitar. That night he was writing songs. Sure they were not real chords but they worked in his mind. Then he joined the jazz band in the 11th grade and he played the drum set. Soon, in his senior year, he was playing the electric guitar in the jazz band.
When Shaun graduated high school, Shaun went to Bowling Green State University to get a degree in Electronics and Computer Technology. At two hours away, Shaun was isolated from his friends and wrote around 75-100 songs in that one year. But since he was isolated, he did not do well in school. He partied too much. So Shaun came back home to get his music career to take off... |
