The John Ray Project Bio:

I'm a long time guitar player, mostly self-taught, which probably accounts for my unorthodox approach when it comes to music. Hardly any of my songs follow the established verse and chorus formulas. I view music as a type conversation or communication. We don't repeat ourselves over and over when we talk, why should a song have to do it? Probably won't "make it big" with this approach but that's how I see it. I play all instruments on most songs except drums
