Bob Burger - "My Crowning Achievement"
My Crowning Achievement
by Glen Burtnik and Bob Burger

A little more here,
A little less there,
slowly creating a world out of air
and slowly frustrating
the hell out of her,
My Crowning Achievement

She dug in her heels,
and put up her fists,
she knawed at the ropes
that I'd bound to her wrists
But there was that feeling
she couldn't resist,
My Crowning Achievement

So go on, go ahead,
bang the walls, shake the bed
Isn't that what you came for?
Yeah go on, go ahead,
smash the mirror, wake the dead
Isn't that what you came for?

I felt the applause,
just knowing that I
had conquered the mountain,
watched the sun rise
And self satisfied
I laid claim to my prize,
My Crowning Achievement

And when I awoke,
she stood over me,
the look on her face
I could hardly believe
And Placing the ringlet
of thorns on my brow,
My Crowning Achievement
