A good friend - Country Traditional

This is a song about a good friend of mine who died at a very young age (21). It tells a story of how I knew him and what he was like as a person. Each one of us has lost someone very special to us. Anyone who hears this song can place the person theyve lost and build their own picture of how that person was. It is never easy losing a love one, but words do heal.

Where did that doe go? - Country Traditional

I was working for a construction company based out of Colorado. We were doing a job in Dulce, New Mexico. I was sitting in a 50-ton rock truck waiting to be loaded with material when I looked across the trees on a snowy day. There was a doe that went across the trees and then disappeared into the forest and that his how this song came about. Where did that doe go?
