Anfítrite is a Venezuelan band of symphonic epic metal that is gaining much popularity in social networking. is one of the few bands in this country which has taken into account the power of social networks to expand the heavy metal beyond geographical boundaries. The vision of Anfítrite is to become one of the most influential bands in the heavy metal scene of Latin America and the world.

Their songs are based on Greek mythology, ancient legends and old folkloric tales about ghosts and fantastic creatures.
