Arx Bio:
A new thrash metal band hails from South Africa. Arx was formed in 2011 from the ashes of our previous bands and projects.
Joe and Yuri were both in MUNK for about 6 years. After MUNK split, both decided that it has been long enough without music in our lives. Joe's long time friend Chris was the next addition on lead guitar and last but not least, Louis on drums. We have been writing music that we love and that we are passionate about. We've written a lot of material and have released our debut album in April 2013.
We aim to fuse old school and modern metal with a unique flavour. We draw influence from a very wide range of metal and rock bands. Our debut album is entitled Ordo Ab Pax and is now available to stream and buy. |
