Dave Young Bio:
I am a musician / producer and vocalist that specializes in country music. Not that country is all I do but it is what I do best. I've been in the music business for more than 30 years primarily as a lead guitarist/vocalist for several bands including a few of my own. I currently play in two different bands and have two different single acts so I still play over 100 gigs a year.
When I'm not on a gig I'm usually sitting at the control room desk in my studio Desert City Sound Recording. I have been recording since 1986 and absolutely love the new technology we have today. It has enabled me to work with people from all around the world. It has also made it possible for independent song writers, vocalists, bands etc, to do so many things that weren't possible before without the financial backing of a major record label or investor. Today independent music is selling more than the big guys and the playing field is much more level for independents. |
