SmallAcre Bio:

SmallAcre are a new 4 piece indie/pop/alternative band from Suffolk.
They consist of leader singer and guitarist, Ainsley Rhodes, lead
guitarist Dan Freeman, Bassist James D.Peachey, and drummer Ben
Simmonds.

SmallAcre formed in Oct 2010, when existing friends Ainsley, Dan, and
Peachey advertised for drummer Ben, and began rehearsing shortly
afterwards at Punch Studios in Ipswich.

The band would cite The Libertines, The Jam, The Clash and Arctic
Monkeys amongst their influences. The band plays original songs,
written by Ainsley, with a few covers in the mix.

The band recently got through to the second round of Live and
Unsigned, a nationwide music competition looking for the country's
best unsigned talent. Described as a 'standout band' they will be
competing to get through to the next stage of the competition on the
9th April regional and area finals showcase at the Ipswich Corn
Exchange.
