George A Jackson Sr Bio:

I was born in Maryland. My parents were Howard and Laura Jackson. My mom was an evangelist and my father was a minister.

My roots started in the church at the age in which my mom could carry me to church. At my church, Zion Temple is where I first started to sing with a group we called the Little Lights. At the age of about 13 I moved up and begin to sing with our larger group called the Shinning Lights.

When I was in my senior year in school I joined up to the chorus.
When I got married in 1976 my latte wife and I used to sing duet at times in different churches.
In 1981 while returning from taking my wife to work the Lord gave me my first song “I Can’t Afford to Quit.” I sang it at many church we would visit and it was loved by many. I wanted to get it copyrighted and get it on a CD however that came much later.
In 2003 while working an office manager I met a guy by the name of Charles Moore Jr. I told him that it was my dream to have my song recorded and he told me that he had a studio . He told me whenever I liked I could come over and he would record it for me. I went to his studio and he recorded it for me and gave me the paper work to get my copyrights. That is where I got my start.
The next project had 5 tracks and it was titled “God is Waiting on You”
In 2007 I did another 13 track which is titled “Jesus Never Fails” and I just completed my new CD which is titled “Can’t Nobody do You Like Jesus.”
In 2005, my CD was played on a local station WJSS until the format for the station changed. All 5 songs I had were played in the rotation for about 6 months. Many people were blessed by them. My songs have also been played on two stations in Baltimore.
