The Filthy Habits
The Filthy Habits Bio:

A bit about The Filthy Habits.
Bobby - Lead vocalist, lyricist, and leading candidate for GQ man of the year 2011.

- Born and raised in Canning Town, East London, Bobby is a devoted Dad of two. A late developer to the music scene, The Filthy Habits are his first foray into fulfilling his ambition of slaying the British Music Industry. A keen lyricist and poet from a young age, a childhood filled with art, movies, soul music, and a feeling that something wasn't quite right. Those elements combined with circumstances, pivotal moments, destiny and fate to create the monster that you currently see before you today. Bobby's unique vocals and ear for the spoken word combine to create what it does, whatever the **** that may be.

Seph - Guitarist.

- Originally from Stockport, and having travelled the world - Seph Bell had an unusual childhood to say the least. The stories would have to be heard to be believed. This coupled with Seph's intellect and inability to suffer fools glady contribute to a spiky character on first impressions. Delve a little deeper though and you will uncover a powerful mind, and talents in abundance. Seph's magnetic songwriting ability is a product of the fact that he is a polymath, ie; someone who learns new skills at a sickening pace, with ease, in record time. Seph's mother was once told by a skiing instructor that he couldn't teach Seph anything he didn't already know - Seph was 7...and it was his first time skiing. A grandad who made guitars, and taught Seph his first three chords? Come on.. it had to be this way.

Jack Pike - Guitarist.

- Jack Pike, the enigma. A man of few words, this does little to help the fact that he is shrouded in mystery. Don't be fooled into thinking he's not there, regardless of what he does - or more importantly - what he doesn't say - Jack is always listening. Beware, you have been warned. It is his dedication to listening and a insane devotion to guitar playing that makes him the frightening talent that he is. An avid Drum&Bass writer and producer, with very real dreams of being regarded as a grandmaster on the guitar. With fingers quicker than a bullet from a gun, and a million dollar grin - would you bet against him? All those hours spent hunched over a guitar, fingers raw, at the tender age of 12 will pay dividends. A great advert for natural British talent.

Matt Scates - Bassist.

- Affectionately known as Matt 'The Bass', the nickname should give you a clue as to the most important thing in Matt's life. Dedication does not do it justice. It's that dedication that repays him as everyone in the band will testify. Anyone who wants to know why a bass is important, should listen to The Filthy Habits. Matt's skill is an integral part of the bands sound, and his sickening ability can be heard throughout and at any given point in time. Not many people could bring what he does to the boiling pot. Watching him perform will give you an indication of how much he loves what he does. A dry sense of humour and a cheeky smile make Matt the perfect bassist to have onboard the ride.

Andy Bridgwood - Percussionist.

- Pick a positive compliment off the top of your head and add the prefix 'Andy is....' then say it. You will not be a liar. Everybody loves Andy, and that is indisputable. To speak to him for two seconds, and be in his company is to love him. Charm and charisma personified. A drumming machine - Andy was a percussion prodigy and once blew the legendary Thomas Lang off stage an at expo - so much so, that the great man himself complimented him personally and handed over his sticks afterwards - Impressed? More impressive when you learn that Andy was 15 at the time. Manic, happy, a student of his craft, always smiling and up for a laugh. Andy will become whatever he chooses to be, and no one will begrudge him.
