| Without The - "Lip" |
I met a girl who bit her lip Along with some other stuff thought to be hip She spoke a TV like dialogue And lived alone with a dog They ran everywhere and the two of them were always shedding hair She said that I should stay a while And then she looked at me with a certain smile What was I supposed to do, it would not do to be rude Then she put some records on And to everyone said "Oh my favourite song" Then out came photographs ... sat by my side Said life was an open book But then she lied The colder months had come and gone One day she looked at me and said "now run along" And that was it no tears no scene An almost clinical clean Now I sit with a vacant stare And I wonder does she still have all her hair So ends this episode this slice of bliss When all is said and done It is what it is |
