Opposites have always attracted ever since time began
Let me tell you if you’re my ying then baby I’m your yang

Day and night, dark and light
Wrong or right, run away or stay and fight
Grass and trees, Locks and keys
But the birds and bees are like chalk and cheese

This thing we’ve got between us it’s no surprise and
You don’t have to be a genius to realise that
Because we’re nothing like each other, we tend to stick together
It’s our differences that keep it real
So let’s hope that nothing changes, we must not let
Anybody re-arrange us I don’t regret we’re
Opposites in every way that’s why we always stay
And why we are together still

Short and long, high and low
Weak or strong you can be fast or slow
Night and day, thick or thin
Go or stay, you may lose or win

It’s the rich that gets the gravy, it’s the poor what gets the blame
The opposite of opposite has always been the same

Girls and boys, man and beast
Quite or noise, we have the most and the least
Happy, sad, good and bad
Ying and yang, ying and yang
