Kenneth Higgins - "There's Something to Be Said"
There’s something to be said…

For being led
Having faith somehow
In where you tread
That doesn’t mean you won’t
stumble and fall to the ground

For not believing in anything else
It doesn’t have to be this way
You know there is another way
All are coming home
The truth beyond all that is will be known
And not known

For making choices for ourselves
Not treated like fools
Even though we act like fools
The power’s been taken away
from the land (& the people) and from heaven

For embracing truth itself
Oh! What’s the matter with me?
Am I the only one that cannot see?
I call your name
I hear nothing at all

For living somewhere else
Under the shade of the mango tree
That’s where I hoped you’d find me
With my heart, my love and my life
And my God, who is mine

For being misled
All your hopes and dreams
Start tearing at the seems
Falling, falling down
No hope, it’s been taken away
