Coming from different musical influences, the band created their own alternative/rock/punk/metal sound. In 2006 the band gave up their previous name "This Week's Trend" after realizing not only one, but many other bands had this name. They gave it up for A Higher Neutral. In 2007 The band recorded their debut recording "The True Empathic" EP. This recording included many of the bands hit songs like "Breathe", "Angel", and more!
