There stood four young Nurses, who wanted to tour this Canadain Military Ship, Wayne this Jenny, you'll be friends for a day,...... So you went to a hochey game in Australia and you got along, and you talked for awhile.............
Just a few lines from Koolewong, My parents would tell this story on rides home from my grandparents farm, back then it felt like a long drive back to Port Coquitlam, from Abbotsford...So their stories were a welcomed distraction, this song is a representation of those rides home, as told from my Dads perspective, ....Their special people love ya Mom and Dad!!! - There is a second part to this story, i will hold off untill the right moment comes, but i will give a little clue, he does get assigned to a second tour to the South Pacific, two years later.........lol in 1969.
