Scottish solo industrial electronica music artist digitalTRAFFIC is donaldo who lives and records in edinburgh scotland UK.

The name digitalTRAFFIC comes from digital data traveling through the ether within the internet protocols allowing people from anywhere to access the largest information resource ever created on this planet.

digitalTRAFFIC use machines and a virtual studio setup - computers and software - technology - virtual instruments..... we all use tools - to create the digitalTRAFFIC sound and distribute only via the internet.

what kind of music - best described as electronica industrial soundtracks. digitalTRAFFIC music is usually released as a 5 track album.

Although donaldo did play in rock bands NUKLEUS, GUNGE ON TOUR, INTROSUCTION (vocal guitar synth) - he found the creative process slow and limiting. The latest technology allows him to produce all his music and sounds very quickly at low cost with unlimited possibilities - using a virtual studio setup to record the digitalTRAFFIC sound.

digitalTRAFFIC new release album - foetus recorded 20007. 5 superb electronica industrial soundtracks - neo, cube, pebble, opium, solar. The album cover picture was kindly given to me by my friend expecting her first baby - great shot of the wee one. Following on from egg - foetus is again about creation and hope. neo - heavy rock on track - solid pounding beat - represents how new gets old fast - its about hope - from out of change comes new thinking. cube - epic heavy industrial electronica track - represents how we all live in cubes / boxes - because we cant talk to our fellow humans anymore and stay single longer - maybe training us for future space living - a classic digitalTRAFFIC wall of sound. pebble - light airy feel - jazzy vibe with electronica overtones - cool mix and production - represents a pebble being bounced around randomly by the elements - like people influenced by outside pressures. opium - ominous gloomy with heavy undertones - represents drug culture and the rather negative aspects of abuse. solar - layers floating wistfully through the ether - like solar rays and a gentle sea breeze - delicately balanced - lovely cool relaxing feel - represents the need to chill and relax from the frenetic kinetic lifes we all lead today.
