Isaac Simons Bio:
Isaac’s sound can be described as a 21st century rebirth of sixties era songwriting. With poetry in one hand and rock and roll in the other, twenty-three year old Isaac is the blank generation’s answer to the hippie; Kerouac with religious conviction, a troubadour with a GPS. With influences ranging from Bob Dylan, the Beatles, Coldplay, and U2, Isaac gives us an honest and clever interpretation of life and music that is refreshingly unpretentious and innocent.
Isaac’s close relationship with music began early in his life with the piano. After moving to guitar in the ninth grade, Isaac had met his match. When a brush with university life proved disastrous, Isaac quickly hit the road, traveling throughout the US and Mexico, honing his craft and living life.
A few years later and three self releases wiser, Isaac is back in Los Angeles hard at work. While becoming an integral part of the LA club scene and working in the studio with famed producer, Paul Fox (10,000 Maniacs, Wallflowers, Phish), Isaac continues to gain momentum. Whether rocking out with a band or mystifying us on his own, Isaac will always bring it balls out: vulnerable, honest, and devoid of bullshit.
