Wrong Animal Bio:
Complex rhythms and patterns make up for interesting listening but WRONG ANIMAL understands the need for simplicity and truly knows what makes a good groove. Stylistically schizophrenic but with grounded personality the music will make you think differently and rid you of pre-conceived ideas of what certain styles of music should be.
The coming together of a funk bass line, a rough rock guitar, hip hop drum breaks, African percussion, haunting sound effects and surreal themes is what makes a typical WRONG ANIMAL track but there is always the element of surprise around every corner
After having been playing keyboards and singing with various funk bands for many years, Michelle set up her own studio just under a year ago and started to produce music which promises to challenge the listener.
There is often a dark side prevalent in the music but this only serves to add gravitas and further depth to the beautiful and at times disturbing electronic landscapes which she creates. Producing varying styles but maintaining strong personality brought about the name WRONG ANIMAL. She stands to be a fusion of musical styles resulting in a unique blend of ear candy and is currently in rehersals with a live band who will be gigging from October bringing their own brand of Punk N Squelch to the masses.
WRONG ANIMAL is also working on solo projects and film scores.
