The Tennessee Revenge Club
The Tennessee Revenge Club Bio:

Bursting onto the alternative rock scene with Love by the Litre, The Tennessee Revenge Club (TTRC) introduces audiences to a passionate single that thrashes with every chord. The first offering from the Burlington quartet clearly establishes that the listener should expect the unexpected. The melodic vocals are juxtaposed with frantic guitars and impatient drums. Even when the song reaches a controlled hush and the band sings in chorus with one voice proclaiming, it is almost too hard to wait for the explosive temperament that is sure to follow. Jesse King (drums), Kurt Brown (guitar, back-up vocals), Davey Knight (bass), and Dan Irvine (lead vocals, guitar) recorded their new single at world famous Metalworks Studios (in Mississauga), which was produced by second term audio students. “To record in a studio that some of the biggest artists in history have was definitely a great experience” says Dan Irvine. Unlike their usual process of recording a catchy rift that Kurt comes up with onto a cheap tape recorder and eventually adding vocal melodies and lyrics, this experience was quite different. This time, according to Dan the creative process “was a lot faster and more structured…The equipment (i.e. soundboards) were a lot more advanced than some of the other studios we have recorded at”. Influenced by bands like Billy Talent, and Alexisonfire, TTRC has been able to grow quite a large and loyal fan base through extensively touring across Southern Ontario and the rest of the country. They have been fortunate to open for well known acts such as Matthew Good, Sloan, The Salads, Moneen, while also having an opportunity to participate in the Vans Warped Tour. As one of Canada’s upcoming acts, the band hopes to continue their wave of success through continuing to play live shows promoting the release of their new single Love by the Litre.
