The Hot Rocks
The Hot Rocks Bio:

the plot>> All eyes are on a small town called Murfreesboro, nestled in the suburbs of Nashville, TN. Why? This area of the states may not be may be know for much more than it's bustling country music scene, but it soon shall be know as the birth place of one of modern music's most creative and innovative new acts… THE HOT ROCKS!

The incarnation>> Founding members Sage and The Chad became friends while working as "errand boys" at a local recording studio and began crafting fun, yet emotional, alterna-indie pop songs together. With Sage growing up in East Africa and The Chad living most of his life in the southern U.S., their styles collided to form an exciting and unique dual lead-vocal sound; a sound influenced by the likes of The Beatles, Squeeze, The Kinks, and Jane's Addiction.

After completing the line-up in mid-2003 with the addition of Animal(drums), and Koko(bass), The Hot Rocks began playing out around Tennessee, garnering an army of fans now known as the Hot Rock Nation. The Hot Rocks deliver a tight and powerful live show. They understand what it means to be performers, and pride themselves on their ability to engage an audience.

The music>> "We are strong believers in the power of a great song. Skillful writing, energy and emotion are the most important aspects of our music," beams Sage. Chad adds, "the only essential factor that allows our music to reach as wide an audience as possible is that listeners continue to want variety." The Hot Rocks are currently working on their second studio release with Grammy Award winning producer Tony Palacios. Their first studio effort(released December 11, 2003) appropriately entitled "energy" was met with praise reviews, and incredible support.

The hook>> The Hot Rocks don't want to be the saviors of rock n' roll. They just want their artistic expression to touch people on a deeper level. In a business where egos and money are king, The Hot Rocks are a grounded group that makes music for the sake of making music…
